CANYON RIDGE CLUB ANNOUNCES GOING FULLY-PRIVATE
Access to the Canyon Ridge experience becomes highly exclusive
LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. (June 11, 2007) – Canyon Ridge Club, the only completed Signature Golf Course in the Chattanooga area, has announced that the club will become a fully private community beginning Oct. 1. The individually owned community is unique in its decision to convert from a semi-private to a fully-private community; allowing only property owners and those who reserve stay and play packages to enjoy the notorious Canyon Ridge experience.
“Our desire from the beginning was to develop Canyon Ridge as a fully-private club,” says Randy Baker, president and CEO of RCB Management, Inc. “There is a much higher perceived and proven value for real estate in the private club environment. Additionally, this will allow our staff to continue to focus on exceeding our members and guests expectations at all times.”
Members and guests will have exclusive access to the distinct full-service experience that Canyon Ridge Club is known for, and for which many golf club communities lack.
“Our mission is to offer our members and guests first-class social and recreational activities in this unique mountain setting,” says Baker. “The atmosphere is casual elegance with a highly trained staff on hand to accommodate whatever our guests expect. It is our duty to know what our guests want before they even request it.”
Members and guests are assured to always comprise the highest level of personal service; furthermore, the Canyon Ridge experience is what sets this community apart from others. The community encompasses all that is elegant yet there is no social pressure. One could call it a seamless transaction.
“We want our members to visit the clubhouse on a Saturday evening and enjoy a perfectly prepared filet mignon or a uniquely seasoned sea bass, but to do so wearing a comfortable pair of jeans if they choose,” says Baker. “We want golfers not to be bothered with rushing to meet tee times. Enjoy a nice lunch at the clubhouse grill after the front nine, rather than a pack of crackers at the turn.”
The Canyon Ridge Club is quietly becoming one of the most widely recognized names in the golfing community. With its panoramic “bluffside” layout, exposed rock formations and brilliant mountain views, Canyon Ridge is known to quicken the pulse of any golfer. Visitors helped the Club coin the phrase, “bring your clubs and your camera.” The par 71 golf course was recently nominated as Golf Digest’s “Best New Private Course” in 2006.
In addition to championship golf, the Canyon Ridge Club amenities will include: a full- service spa, tennis courts, a free form pool complex, miles of walking and hiking trails, equestrian stables and services, a Clubhouse complete with dining, banquet facilities, Boulder Bar and nine luxury condominiums overlooking the 18th green. The recently completed 2,800 sq. ft. “bluffside” open-air pavilion with a full-service kitchen and bar can accommodate functions of up to 200 guests. The pavilion also features one of the largest outdoor fireplaces in the Southeast.
“Non-members will still be able to enjoy amenities including our renowned golf course,” explains Baker. “Those who wish to experience the Canyon Ridge Club may do so with an active club member. The Canyon Ridge community also offers first-rate lodging facilities, which include full club access to those staying at Canyon Ridge.”
Lookout Mountain provides a wonderful mixture of forest trails, open meadows, walking paths, and streams winding for miles. Explorers can observe a great variety of birds and mountain wildlife along the way. Experiencing Canyon Ridge is as simple as exploring and joining because memories for a lifetime begin with a weekend at this ultimate golf club community.
